When I’m feeling celebratory and want something fizzy and festive, I’ll throw pomegranate juice and champagne together in a glass, scatter the top with a handful of pomegranate seeds and a sprig of mint and, if I have some around, toss in a splash of orange liqueur.

 Ingredients

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 bottle chilled champagne or sparkling wine
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

 Instructions

1. Pour the pomegranate juice into a pitcher, and add the simple syrup (if using). Stir to combine.

2. Divide the pomegranate seeds evenly among the champagne flutes.

3. Pour the pomegranate juice mixture into each flute (three-quarters of the way).

4. Top with the Champagne and garnish with raspberries and Grand Marnier-soaked pomegranate seeds. Voila! And there you have it – a pomegranate Champagne cocktail fit for the holidays.

5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.

I love to spice up morning brunch with a festive cranberry mimosa. I create a concoction of cranberry juice, sparkling wine, a squeeze of fresh orange juice, and sometimes I top it off with a couple of berries or a slice of orange.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberry juice, chilled
  • 1 bottle of Champagne or sparkling wine, chilled
  • Fresh cranberries for garnish
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish (optional)
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur (optional)

 Instructions

1. Pour 1/2 cup cranberry juice into a champagne flute.

2. Add a splash of orange liqueur for an extra kick, if using.

3. Slowly top off the glass with Champagne or sparkling wine.

4. Gently stir to combine.

5. Garnish with a few fresh cranberries and a rosemary sprig if desired.

6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

When I’m feeling clever and want to make a twist on a classic cocktail, here’s what I like to do. I have found a flavorful mix with a dozen mint leaves, the juice of one lime, and a bit of simple syrup.

Then I pour in a splash of bubbly champagne to make it extra fancy. My version always has a couple of ice cubes and a sprig of mint to top it off.

Ingredients

  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 12 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 ounce light rum
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • 3 ounces champagne
  • Mint sprig, for garnish
  • Lime wheel, for garnish

Instructions

1. In a sturdy glass, muddle the lime wedges, mint leaves and white sugar together until the mint and lime have released their flavors.

2. Add the light rum and simple syrup to the glass, stirring to combine.

3. Fill the glass with ice cubes.

4. Top up with champagne, pouring it gently to retain its bubbles.

5. Stir the drink carefully to mix the ingredients without losing too much fizz.

One thing I truly love about the holidays is the special drink you can make. You can use a mix of cranberry juice and orange juice with a little bit of ginger ale.

The result is a delicious holiday punch made to enjoy Christmas. It is soo fruity and bubbly.

Every year I am excited to try it out with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle champagne or sparkling wine, chilled
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish

Instructions

1.Pour all the cranberry juice, orange juice, and triple sec (or orange liqueur) into a large punch bowl or pitcher.

2. Mix the punch thoroughly and enjoy. Or as Bill Wilson would likely say, BY GOLLY, THIS STUFF IS GOOD!

I love the seasonal cheer of a gingerbread champagne cocktail. The fizz of the champagne meeting the warmth of gingerbread spices creates an unusual magic.

Think ginger liqueur, cinnamon, a dash of nutmeg. The perfect cocktail for the festive season – surely, my go-to beverage at this time of year.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz gingerbread syrup
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz ginger liqueur
  • Champagne or Prosecco, to top
  • Cinnamon stick, for garnish
  • Crushed gingersnap cookies, for rimming the glass
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

1 Rim the champagne glass with a garnish by first dipping the rim in water or simple syrup and then into the crushed gingersnap cookies.

2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.

3. Add the gingerbread syrup, vodka, and ginger liqueur to the shaker.

4. Shake the mixture well until it’s chilled.

5. Strain the mixture into the prepared champagne flute.

6. Top off with Champagne or Prosecco, and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Whenever I think of the perfect indulgent experience, I think of my cup of Raspberry Royale with its bountiful raspberries, rose petals, vanilla and a light touch of hibiscus, and a subtle note of natural raspberry flavor. It just feels so regal to sip some!

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of chilled Champagne or sparkling wine
  • 1 ounce Chambord (raspberry liqueur)
  • Fresh raspberries (for garnish)
  • Optional: Mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Chill the Champagne or sparkling wine thoroughly before serving.

2. Pour 1 ounce of Chambord into a champagne flute.

 Ingredients

  • 1 oz Crème de Cassis (blackcurrant liqueur)
  • 5 oz Champagne or sparkling wine, chilled
  • Fresh raspberries, for garnish
  • Lemon twist, for garnish

 Instructions

1. Pour 1 oz of Crème de Cassis into a Champagne flute.

2. Very slowly, top up the flute with 5 oz of well-chilled Champagne or other sparkling wine.

3. Stir gently to combine.

4.. garnish with a lemon twist, hanging over the edge of the glass.

5. Add a few fresh raspberries to the drink for a festive touch.

6. Serve immediately and enjoy your Holiday Kir Royale!

There is something very special about a seasonal cocktail. Think festive flavors, think peppermint champagne cocktail, think crisp champagne with a cool, refreshing hint of mint.

My first choice of peppermint candies to use are the red sand-coated ones crushed up, using peppermint schnapps, smooth vanilla vodka along with a fantastic bottle of bubbly makes this a very celebratory and very seasonal cocktail.

Ingredients

    • 1 bottle of chilled Champagne or sparkling wine
    • 1/4 cup peppermint schnapps
    • 1/4 cup simple syrup
    • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
    • Ice cubes
    • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
    • Sugar (for rimming the glasses)

Instructions

1. Coat the rims of the champagne flutes with sugar: Run glasses under a light film of water then dunk in a plate of sugar to coat.

2. Fill a cocktail shaker with the peppermint schnapps, simple syrup and ice cubes, and shake vigorously to chill.

3. Strain the peppermint schnapps mixture evenly into each champagne flute.

4. Fill the rest of each flute with chilled champagne or sparkling wine.

5. Add a sprinkle of crushed candy canes to each flute.

Among all the delightful summer drinks I can think of, one that stands out is a classic cocktail that marries the sophisticated taste of the champagne with a fine brew of ginger beer for a perfect concoction. A few drops of lime juice gives it a refreshing citrus flavor and spicing up the mixture with a shot of vodka completes the blend.

For a party of a few or a quiet night-in, this glamourous ginger cocktail is a must.

Ingredients

      • 4 oz Champagne or sparkling wine
      • 2 oz vodka
      • 1 oz ginger beer
      • 1/2 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
      • Ice cubes
      • Lime wheel, for garnish
      • Mint sprig, for garnish

On any morning when I want to get festive – or just because – I take a cup of apple cider and top it off with a bigger cup of bubbly champagne. A pinch of cinnamon adds a bit of spice.

Some orange juice gives it a light orange tang, while an apple slice on the side makes it feel like a special occasion.

Ingredients

      • 1 cup apple cider
      • 1 bottle of champagne or sparkling wine, chilled
      • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce (optional)
      • Ground cinnamon and sugar for rim
      • Apple slices for garnish
      • Cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Flute rimming: dip shirred egg cups in the saucer of caramel (optional), then in a cinnamon sugar mix.

2. Pour approximately 1/4 cup of apple cider into each champagne flute.

3. Take the remainder of your flute, pouring your chilled champagne or sparkling wine slowly so that it does not run over!

4. Gently stir the mixture to combine the apple cider and champagne.

5. Garnish each flute with a slice of apple and a cinnamon stick, if you like. Serve immediately and enjoy!

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is creating a cocktail for Christmas morning. I often use sparkling champagne, orange juice and cranberry, then I sometimes garnish with rosemary or a few fresh cranberries.

Ingredients

      • 1 bottle of champagne (or prosecco)
      • 1 cup of fresh orange juice
      • 1/2 cup of cranberry juice
      • Fresh cranberries (for garnish)
      • Rosemary sprigs (for garnish)
      • Orange slices (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Chill the champagne or prosecco in the refrigerator overnight.

2. In a large pitcher, combine the fresh orange juice and cranberry juice.

3. Slowly pour the chilled champagne or prosecco into the juice mixture.

4. Stir gently to combine the ingredients without losing too much fizz.

5. Pour the mixture into champagne flutes.

6. Fill each glass with a handful of fresh cranberries, a sprig of rosemary, and an orange slice. Serve immediately.

13. Sparkling Snowflake

Winter is a favorite time of year, and I love to try out new holiday recipes. My favorite concoction of all is a white chocolate candy cane, with creamy white chocolate combined with cool peppermint and a sparkling sugar finish.

These ingredients give the treat it’s classic holiday feel.

Ingredients

      • 1 bottle of chilled champagne or sparkling wine
      • 2 oz vanilla vodka
      • 1 oz white chocolate liqueur
      • 1 oz cream
      • Ice
      • Edible glitter or silver sugar for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare your glass by rimming it with edible glitter or silver sugar.

2. Pour the vanilla vodka, white chocolate liqueur and cream into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake until well combined and chilled.

3. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.

4. Slowly top off with chilled champagne or sparkling wine.

5. Gently stir to combine.

6. Serve immediately and enjoy your festive Sparkling Snowflake cocktail!
