I have a bunch of recipes with ground beef that I cant wait to share. Today my blog shows spicy chipotle beef and black bean empanadas, matcha infused ground beef stir fry with bok choy, keema pav sliders, korean gochujang beef bibimbap bowls and tasty delights.

I made spicy chipotle beef and black bean empanadas usin 1 lb ground beef, black beans, 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, red onion, garlic and tomato paste, seasoned with salt and cumin.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can black beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (finely chopped)
  • 1 small red onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup tomato paste
  • Salt and cumin to taste

Instructions

1. Heat a bit of oil in a pan and saute the red onions and garlic until they get soft.

2. Add the ground beef and cook it until its completely browned, then stir in the tomato paste and chopped chipotle peppers.

3. Mix in the black beans and season with salt and cumin, letting the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.

4. Spoon the filling onto dough rounds, fold them well and press the edges to seal then bake at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes till they are nice and golden.

I made a matcha-infused beef stir-fry using ground beef, matcha powder, bok choy, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and sesame oil. Its a simple recipe that brought a bold flavor to dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • 2 heads bok choy, chopped roughly
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 inch piece ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

1. Heat the sesame oil in a large pan over medium-high heat then add the garlic and ginger letting them sizzle for about 1 minute till they start to smell good.

2. Crumble in the ground beef and stir it until its browned evenly then mix in the matcha powder making sure it coats the meat well.

3. Toss in the chopped bok choy and pour the soy sauce over it, keep stir-frying for about 3-4 minutes until the bok choy is slightly soft.

4. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed then serve hot with rice or noodles if you like.

I whip up Indian keema pav sliders with 500g ground beef, 1 large chopped onion, 1 tbsp garlic ginger paste, 2 tomatoes and 1 tsp garam masala. Slider pav buns and cilantro completes this snack.

Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 large finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon garlic ginger paste
  • 2 medium chopped tomatoes
  • 8 slider pav buns
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Fresh chopped cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Heat a pan on medium heat and add a bit of oil then saute the onions until they gets soft. After that, mix in the garlic ginger paste and tomatoes and let em cook for a couple minutes.

2. Add the ground beef along with salt and the garam masala. Cook it on a medium flame until the beef is browned and the spices really start to smell amazing.

3. Meanwhile, toast the pav buns lightly on the same pan so they become a little crisp on the edges.

4. Put together the slider by layering the keema between the buns, sprinkle some chopped cilantro on top and serve it with your fav chutney. Enjoy it!

I made these Thai Basil Ground Beef Larb Lettuce Cups with ground beef, red onion, garlic, lime juice, fish sauce and Thai basil. Butter lettuce cups hold the mix together for a simple, fresh meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • A generous handful of Thai basil leaves

I made Japanese Miso Beef Meatballs with ground beef, white miso paste, soy sauce, garlic, egg and ginger. They pack an umami punch and its really easy to whip up on a busy night.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp white miso paste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400F. In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, miso paste, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, egg, and breadcrumbs but dont overmix it.

I created Korean Gochujang Beef Bibimbap Bowls that combine ground beef, white rice, gochujang paste, carrots, spinach and bean sprouts for a balanced meal. Its a simple and hearty recipe made fresh.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 tbsp gochujang paste
  • 1 cup julienned carrots
  • 1 cup blanched spinach
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 4 medium zucchinis, halved lengthwise
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes

I made these Caribbean jerk beef tacos usin ground beef, Caribbean jerk seasoning, red bell pepper, pineapple and red onion, with a squeeze of lime on corn tortillas. They’re spicy, tangy and right for dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Caribbean jerk seasoning
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced pineapple
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 8 small corn tortillas

Instructions

1. Heat a large pan over medium heat and add your ground beef, cook it until its browned and crumbly then drain the excess fat.

2. Sprinkle in the Caribbean jerk seasoning along with diced red bell pepper, pineapple and red onion; stir well so the flavors mix together and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

3. Meanwhile, warm up your tortillas in a separate pan then fill them with the beef mixture and squeeze the lime juice over the top.

4. Plate the tacos, add a bit extra seasoning if you like and serve warm enjoy its spicy and tangy kick even if its a bit messy!

10. Vietnamese Lemongrass Beef Spring Rolls

I made these Vietnamese Lemongrass Beef Spring Rolls with ground beef, minced lemongrass, garlic, shredded carrots, and fresh basil and mint wrapped in rice paper, its a simple mix of zesty flavors.

Ingredients

  • Ground beef (about 1 lb)
  • Lemongrass, minced (2 stalks)
  • Rice paper wrappers (pack of 12)
  • Shredded carrots (1 cup)
  • Fresh basil and mint leaves (a handful each)
  • Minced garlic (2 cloves)

Instructions

1. In a pan, cook the ground beef with the lemongrass and garlic until its browned and most of the liquid has evaporated.

2. Next, remove the pan off the heat and stir in the shredded carrots and fresh herbs.

3. Dip one rice paper wrapper in hot water quickly to soften then lay it on a clean surface.

I made these Argentinian chimichurri beef skewers with ground beef, parsley, garlic, red pepper flakes, olive oil and red wine vinegar. Its a simple dish with a nice kick and cooks fast.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat your grill to medium high heat.

2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with the parsley, garlic, red pepper flakes, olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper. Try not to over mix cuz it might turn tough.

3. Divide the beef into portions and shape ’em around soaked wooden skewers.

4. Grill the skewers 4 to 5 minutes per side until you get a nice char, then serve hot with extra chimichurri sauce if you like.

I made Szechuan Pepper Beef Ramen using ramen noodles, ground beef, minced garlic, fresh grated ginger, soy sauce, beef broth and crushed Szechuan peppercorns. Its got a spicy kick and is easy to whip up.

Ingredients

  • Ramen noodles
  • Ground beef
  • Crushed Szechuan peppercorns
  • Soy sauce
  • Minced garlic
  • Fresh grated ginger
  • Beef broth

Instructions

1. In a large pan, brown the ground beef on medium heat then drain off some of the extra fat.

2. Toss in the minced garlic, grated ginger, and crushed Szechuan peppercorns and stir fry until its fragrant.

3. Pour in the beef broth and add the soy sauce, bring it to a simmer before you drop in the ramen noodles and cook till theyre just al dente.

4. Stir back in the browned beef and let it all mingle together for a couple minutes before serving. Enjoy your meal!

I prepped Cajun Beef Po Boy Sliders by cookin ground beef with Cajun seasoning, diced onion, bell pepper and garlic, then stuffed it in toasted slider buns with lettuce, tomato and pickles; a hearty meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 8 slider buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and pickles for topping

Instructions

1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef with the diced onion, bell pepper and garlic until its browned, then drain off the extra grease and stir in the Cajun seasoning.

2. Lightly toast the slider buns in a pan to add a bit of crunch and extra flavor.

3. Fill each bun with the beef mixture and top with lettuce, tomato, and pickles, then put the top bun on.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • A pinch of saffron threads soaked in 2 tbsp of hot water
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

1. In a bowl mix the ground beef with the chopped onion, the saffron water, egg, flour, salt and pepper all together.

2. Gently form the mixture into small patties or fritters, be careful not to overhandle the meat.

3. Heat the oil in a pan on medium high heat then fry the fritters til they are golden and cooked through on both sides.

4. Remove them on paper towels to drain excess oil and serve warm, you can add lemon wedges if you like.

I cooked Brazilian Feijoada Stuffed Sweet Potatoes with baked sweet potatoes, browned ground beef, black beans, onion, garlic and red bell pepper. Its a hearty dish that brings brazilian feijoada spirit to my table.

Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked black beans
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Poke holes in the sweet potatoes with a fork and bake them for about 45 minutes until they get soft inside.

2. While the potatoes are bakin, saute the ground beef in a pan until it browns. Then add the diced onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. Let it simmer for 5 minutes so the flavors mix well.

3. Mix in the black beans and season the beef with salt, pepper and a pinch of smoked paprika. Dont worry if its a bit messy, thats part of the fun.

4. Once the sweet potatoes are done, cool them slightly, cut rid of some flesh to create a cavity and stuff them with the beef and bean mixture. Serve warm and enjoy the hearty taste of feijoada!

16. Garlic Herb Ground Beef and Polenta Croquettes

I made these Garlic Herb Ground Beef and Polenta Croquettes by mixing ground beef with minced garlic, mixed herbs, grated Parmesan and an egg to bind coarsely cooked polenta. They give a hearty crunch.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup coarsely cooked polenta
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped mixed herbs (parsley, basil, thyme)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, garlic, herbs, Parmesan, salt and pepper.

2. Stir in the polenta and the egg; mix well until the ingredients come together.

3. Form small balls or patties and fry them in a pan with some oil until they’re browned and cooked through.

4. Serve warm with a drizzle of extra olive oil and extra herbs if you feel like it.

17. Lebanese Spiced Beef Kibbeh Cups

17. Lebanese Spiced Beef Kibbeh Cups

I made Lebanese Spiced Beef Kibbeh Cups using 1 lb ground beef, soaked bulgur wheat, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, allspice and cinnamon. Theyre super easy to prep and add a unique twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup soaked bulgur wheat
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground allspice
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Pre-cook the bulgur wheat until soft then mix it with the ground beef, onion, garlic, allspice, cinnamon, salt and pepper in a bowl.

2. Grease a muffin tin and fill each cup with the beef mixture, packing it gently.

3. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 20-25 minutes until they look cooked through and the edges start to get a bit crispy.

4. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving with a squeeze of lemon or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!

18. Fusion Beef and Avocado Sushi Rolls

18. Fusion Beef and Avocado Sushi Rolls

Today I made fusion beef and avocado sushi rolls using ground beef, ripe avocado, seasoned sushi rice and nori sheets. A pinch of salt and pepper and sesame seeds added a twist thats impressed me.

Ingredients

  • 300 grams ground beef
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice (seasoned with rice vinegar)
  • 4 nori sheets
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Cook the ground beef in a pan over medium heat with a pinch of salt and pepper until it’s browned. Dont overcook it or it will dry out.

2. Prepare your sushi rice by mixing in the rice vinegar once it’s warm. Then lay a nori sheet on a clean board and spread a thin layer of rice leaving one edge free.

3. Place a line of cooked beef along the center of the rice and add the avocado slices, then roll the nori tightly. Slice the roll into pieces and sprinkle sesame seeds on top for extra flavor.
