The 18 Best starbucks recipes

1. Pumpkin Spice Latte

1. Pumpkin Spice Latte

A warm, autumnal drink, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is made by blending pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, sugar, and milk with a hint of vanilla. Sounds nice, but it’s about to get nasty.

Despite the appearance of using whole food ingredients, Starbucks’ version marries this warm, comforting mix to 50 grams of sugar. And that’s before you even start considering any of the bad-for-you toppings.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup strong coffee or espresso
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)

Instructions

1. In a modest saucepan set over medium heat, merge the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and sugar. Heat until the mixture reaches a pleasant temperature and gives off a nice scent, about 2 minutes.

2. Combine the milk and vanilla extract, and then bring the mixture to a simmer.

3. Take it off the heat and whisk the concoction until it is frothy.

4. Serve the coffee or espresso in a mug, and slowly add the milk mixture. If desired, finish with whipped cream.

2. Caramel Macchiato

2. Caramel Macchiato

Caramel Macchiato is the perfect mix of frothed milk, espresso, sweet vanilla, and a drizzle of caramel. Want a colder version?

Add ice to your glasses. This “layered” drink is so easy to make, it requires no special barista training.

And guess what? You can have this coffeehouse classic at home.

Ingredients:
1 cup milk (any variety)
1 shot of espresso
2 tablespoons vanilla syrup
1 tablespoon caramel sauce
Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

1. Heat the milk and use a milk frother to foam it, or whisk it very vigorously if you don’t have a milk frother.

2. In a glass for serving, add the syrup of vanilla.

3. Add ice, if you like, after pouring the syrup into the cup. Then top with the frothed milk.

4. Slowly add the espresso to the milk to keep the layers. Without constant pouring, the espresso shot and milk will mix.

5. Before serving, drizzle the top with caramel sauce. Then, pour some milk over the top of the drink as well. Enjoy!

3. Vanilla Latte

3. Vanilla Latte

A delightful coffee drink, a Vanilla Latte, features a shot of espresso or very strong brewed coffee. This is combined with steamed milk and vanilla syrup.

1-2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup

1. Warm the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until it is steaming, or use a milk frother to achieve a similar effect.

2. Prepare a shot of espresso or a potent cup of coffee.

4. Pour the foamed milk over the coffee flavored with vanilla, holding back the foam with a spoon to top the latte last.

5. Chai Tea Latte

Savor a relaxing Chai Tea Latte that mixes black tea with delicate chai spices and honey, and you will find it topped with frothed milk and a whisper of vanilla. What could be garnished?

Maven like yourself could sprinkle some cinnamon or fresh nutmeg over the top. You might even do something daring and add some allspice.

You will still have a relaxing drink.

1 1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon loose-leaf black tea or 2 black tea bags
2 teaspoons chai spice mix or ground chai tea
1 tablespoon honey or sweetener of choice
1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

6. Iced Coffee

6. Iced Coffee

Chilled brewed coffee served over ice is a delightful drink that can be enjoyed in different ways. With each preparation, it can turn into a different kind of removable feast.

My favorite version is prepared like this:

1. Brew some strong coffee.

Almost double your usual amount, because you will dilute it with ice later. 2.

Cool the coffee down to room temperature, or preferably, do so in the refrigerator. 3.

Fill a glass with ice (or nearly fill it). 4.

Pour the coffee over the ice (half and half, if you like).

Ingredients

Brewed coffee (1 cup, cooled)
Ice cubes
Milk or cream (optional, to taste)
Sugar or sweetener (to taste)
Vanilla extract (1/4 tsp, optional)
Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
Chocolate syrup or caramel sauce (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

1. Prepare a potent cup of coffee and let it sit until it reaches room temperature. Opt for a dark roast if you want an even bolder taste.

2. Stuff a highball glass full of ice cubes. Pour the now-cool coffee over the ice.

3. Add milk or cream to the coffee if desired. Sweeten with sugar or a sweetener of your choice, stirring until fully dissolved.

4. For added flavor, add a drop of vanilla extract. If desired, top with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup or caramel sauce. Serve right away and enjoy!

7. Flat White

7. Flat White

A flat white is a delightful coffee beverage made with a double shot of espresso and hot, frothy whole milk. It’s a smooth drink often topped with microfoam, with the addition of optional sugar or cocoa powder.

Ingredients

18g freshly ground espresso beans
1 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
Pinch of cocoa powder (optional)

Instructions

1. Use the freshly ground espresso beans and 2 tablespoons of water to brew a double shot of espresso.

2. Heat 1 cup of whole milk, steaming it until it is hot and frothy. To create the microfoam that makes the drink so special, gently swirl the milk while it steams.

3. In a cup, place the espresso. Next, holding back the foam with a spoon, pour the steamed milk over the espresso. Once the liquid milk is in the cup, add a small amount of the microfoam to top off the espresso.

4. Add sugar to taste, or dust with a pinch of cocoa powder for garnish.

8. Cold Brew

8. Cold Brew

A delightful coffee drink is created by soaking coarsely ground coffee beans in cold water. This mixture needs to be left alone for half a day or more (much longer than a regular brew) so that the flavors it contains can seep into the water.

The result is a potent elixir that can be served over ice and can be sweetened or muled to comic or serious effect.

Ingredients

Coarsely ground coffee beans
Cold, filtered water
Ice cubes
Sweetener of choice (optional)
Milk or cream (optional)

Instructions

1. Mix the coffee grounds and cold water in a large vessel. The ratio of coffee to water should be 1:4 by weight (e.g., 1 cup coffee to 4 cups water). Use a large jar or pitcher.

2. Gently stir to guarantee that all grounds are evenly soaked, and then cover it to allow steeping in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours.

3. After allowing the coffee to steep, use a fine-mesh sieve or a coffee filter to strain the coffee and remove the grounds.

4. Pour over ice and then add sweetener and milk if you like.

9. Matcha Green Tea Latte

9. Matcha Green Tea Latte

Matcha Green Tea Latte is a cozy drink. It features smooth matcha green tea powder mixed with your choice of milk.

You can sweeten it if you’d like, and add vanilla extract for a comforting touch. This drink can be enjoyed hot or cold.

Hot water (2 tablespoons)
Milk of choice (1 cup; dairy or non-dairy alternatives like almond, soy, or oat milk)

Vanilla extract (a few drops; optional)

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, combine the matcha green tea powder with boiling water and whisk until smooth. There should be no lumps, and the paste should be fairly thick.

2. Warm the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until warm. (Do not boil.) Or froth it using a milk frother for a creamier texture.

3. Place the matcha paste in a cup, then mix in the sweetener and vanilla (if using), and give it a good stir.

4. Add the warmed or frothed milk. Stir gently to combine and serve hot. For an iced version, pour over a glass filled with ice.

4. Top with crushed pistachios, and serve right away.

11. Honey Almondmilk Flat White

11. Honey Almondmilk Flat White

The Honey Almondmilk Flat White is a delicious coffee beverage that merges silky espresso shots with mild almond milk and a hint of honey. Adding vanilla extract and ground cinnamon boosts its aromatic profile.

Almondmilk
Espresso shots
Honey
Vanilla extract (optional)
Ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

1. Pull two shots of espresso with an espresso machine or a stovetop espresso maker.

2. Gently heat the almond milk until it is hot but not quite boiling, and then use a milk frother to create a thick, creamy microfoam.

4. Froth the almond milk and pour it over the honey-infused espresso. Let the microfoam form a distinct layer on top. Garnish with ground cinnamon, if desired.

12. Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso

12. Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso

Brown Sugar Oatmilk Iced Shaken Espresso combines espresso with oat milk, brown sugar syrup, and a whisper of cinnamon. This cool, coffee-charged drink is served over ice and is just the refreshment you need on a hot day.

Here’s a basic recipe for the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso:

Ingredients

  • 2 shots of espresso (or about 2/3 cup of strong brewed coffee)
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar syrup (or 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of water)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup of oat milk
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: A pinch of sea salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the espresso shots or robust coffee and blend it with the brown sugar syrup. When employing brown sugar in making the syrup, ensure you mix the two together and thoroughly blend them until the sugar is in a state where you can’t tell the sugar is there, meaning it is completely dissolved. You can also use just water instead of brown sugar, and the instructions remain the same.

1. Make a strong coffee or espresso.

2. Combine with the brown sugar syrup.

2. Combine the espresso mixture, ground cinnamon, and ice cubes in a shaker. Shake until well combined and thoroughly chilled.

3. Pour the shaken mixture over ice in a glass.

4. Finish the drink with oat milk, added gently, then give it a stir. It is optional, but if you want to, you can garnish the drink with a come-hither pinch of sea salt. And there you have it: the perfect drink for a brisk fall day. Or, you know, anytime. Drink up!

14. London Fog Tea Latte

14. London Fog Tea Latte

An Earl Grey steamed milk drink sweetened with syrup and possibly honey is how I would describe a London Fog Tea Latte. It’s primarily a milky, tea-flavored drink.

Earl Grey has a slightly more intense flavor than most black teas, and that’s even more pronounced in a drink made with it and not a more traditional base of vanilla. What you get isn’t something that’s overtly sweet, creamy, or even mildly floral because of the addition of lavender.

It’s just a very cozy drink.

Ingredients

Earl Grey tea bag
1 cup hot water
1/2 cup steamed milk
1 tablespoon vanilla syrup
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Dash of lavender (optional)

Instructions

1. Let the Earl Grey tea bag soak in the hot water for around 5 minutes to guarantee a robust brew.

2. As the tea is steeping, ready the milk by steaming it until it is hot and frothy.

3. After the tea is brewed, take out the tea bag and mix in the vanilla syrup (and honey, if you are using any) until fully dissolved.

4. Add the steamed milk to the tea and gently stir. For just a hint of lavender perfume, which would not be out of place in the tea business, sprinkle a touch on top.

15. Violet Drink

15. Violet Drink

The Violet Drink is a revitalizing drink made with the Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher base or berry herbal tea, combined with coconut milk, and served with fresh or freeze-dried blackberries, simple syrup, and ice.

1 cup of coconut milk
½ cup of freeze-dried blackberries (or fresh blackberries)
1 tablespoon of simple syrup (adjust to taste)
Ice cubes

Instructions

1. Start with a berry herbal tea of your choice, or if you have the Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher base, use that as your starter. Make sure it is cooled.

2. In a shaker, mix the base of tea that has cooled down, coconut milk, simple syrup, and either freeze-dried or fresh blackberries.

3. Place ice cubes in the shaker, secure the lid, and shake vigorously until the contents are well mixed and chilled.
