Halloween is my favorite time of year and making fun snack mixes for people is one of my favorite holiday traditions. This is my favorite Halloween snack mix because it is so easy to make and it tastes so good.

It is a great treat to bring to a party or a fun at home movie night on Halloween night or any other time of the year. I love using the sweet and salty flavor mix and the colors from the Halloween candy.

Below I will share my all time favorite recipes to ensure that your snack mix turns out great!

1. Monster Munch Mix

It feels to me that nothing beats the satisfaction of a tasty medley of tidbits, so I thought I would share an assortment of popcorn, pretzels, and candy corn. It’s the right balance of sweet and salty.

 Ingredients

  • 3 cups of popped popcorn
  • 2 cups of pretzel twists
  • 1 cup of candy corn
  • 1 cup of miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup of chocolate-covered peanuts
  • 1 cup of Halloween-themed M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup of dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds (optional)

Instructions

1. Start by popping the popcorn and allowing it to cool completely.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled popcorn and pretzel twists.

3. Place the candy corn, miniature marshmallows, chocolate-covered peanuts and Halloween M – Ts into the bowl.

4. If using, mix in the dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds to the bowl.

5. Gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined.

6. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to a week.

I love kitchen witchcraft, especially when Halloween rolls around. My favorite thing to make is a magic snack mix — I think the secret to making it is definitely to use some magic — although I think a spooky pretzel shape helps!

I usually include candy corn, chocolate covered peanuts and are usually sprinkled with green for good measure. I like to add in a little crunch with a handful of mini marshmallows and some dried cranberries for color.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of popped popcorn
  • 2 cups of pretzel twists
  • 1 cup of candy corn
  • 1 cup of chocolate-covered pretzels
  • 1 cup of mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup of Halloween-themed candy (e.g., gummy worms, spooky-shaped chocolates)
  • 1/2 cup of roasted and salted pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup of M&Ms or similar candy-coated chocolates

Instructions

1. Place the popped popcorn, pretzel twists and marshmallows in a large mixing bowl.

2. Add the candy corn, chocolate-covered pretzels, and Halloween-themed candy to the bowl.

3. Sprinkle in the roasted and salted pumpkin seeds.

4. Toss all the ingredients together until they are evenly mixed.

5. Spread the M&Ms over the mixture, then gently stir them to distribute them.

My favorite Halloween treats are those that give me a taste of the holiday. Mine are a combination of mini marshmallows, candy corn, and chocolate-covered pretzels, though really any combination of sweet and salty adds the perfect touch.

A mixture of nuts roasted in the shell with gummies in the shape of brain and eyes makes it that much easier to eat.

 Ingredients

  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 2 cups honey roasted peanuts
  • 2 cups candy corn
  • 2 cups Chex cereal (any variety)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Halloween-themed M&Ms

 Instructions

1. Toss mini pretzels, honey roasted peanuts, candy corn, Chex cereal and mini marshmallows in a large bowl.

2. Gently mix the dry ingredients until they are evenly distributed.

3. Add the chocolate chips and M&Ms to the bowl.

4. Stir to distribute the chocolate chips and M Ⓣ Ms evenly in the mix.

5. Portion out the Ghostly Goodies Mix into individual bowls or Halloween-themed bags for a perfect serving.

A handful of candy corn, pretzel sticks, chocolate-covered raisins and mini marshmallows would make it feel festive to me, but my go-to is gummy shapes in spooky forms (liquorice laces in a twist are a fun addition), and a few sprinkles of orange and black M&M’s are a must.

Ingredients

Mini marshmallows
Candy corn
Chocolate-covered raisins
Halloween-colored M&Ms
Roasted, salted pumpkin seeds

Instructions

1. Put 1 cup pretzel twists and 1 cup mini marshmallows in a large mixing bowl.

2. Mix in 1 cup candy corn and 1 cup chocolate-covered raisins.

3. Mix in 1 cup of Halloween-colored M&Ms for a festive touch.

4. Include 1/2 cup of roasted, salted pumpkin seeds to add crunch and balance.

5. Gently toss all the ingredients until they are well combined.

6. Serve your mix in a fun bowl or portion into individual treat bags for a spooky snack!

When I get into a spooky mood, there’s nothing like snacking on a mix of creepy ingredients. A Halloween candy bowl is a mishmash of sugary items, but my favorite one is made of candy corn, pretzel sticks, and chocolate-covered raisins.

With every handful, there’s something sweet, sour, or chewy that makes my day. My choices also include mini marshmallows and gummy worms, which is balanced nicely between sweet and crunchy.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mini pretzel twists
  • 2 cups rice cereal squares (e.g., Rice Chex)
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup roasted, salted peanuts
  • 1 cup Halloween-colored M&Ms
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add your mini pretzel twists and rice cereal squares.

2. Add the candy corn, roasted peanuts, and Halloween-colored M&Ms to the bowl.

3. Toss the ingredients gently to mix them evenly.

4. Optional: Carefully melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until smooth.

5. Drizzle the chocolate over the snack mix or stir it in so it is more evenly coated.

 You can’t go wrong with candied corn for the color, and the ghost-shaped marshmallows are a nice haunt.

Pretzel sticks add the perfect salty crunch to the recipe. I’d say the ultimate is chocolate-covered peanuts and gummy worms.

 Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 2 cups honey nut Cheerios
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate-covered raisins
  • 1 cup spooky-shaped gummy candies

 Instructions

1. Combine pretzel sticks, honey nut Cheerios, candy corn, mini marshmallows, chocolate-covered raisins, and spooky-shaped gummy candies in a large mixing bowl.

2. Gently toss the ingredients together to ensure even distribution.

3. Pour the snack mix into one large serving bowl or dispense it into individual snack bags.

4. Store in an airtight container or resealable bags to keep it fresh.

When it comes to getting creative in the kitchen, Halloween in particular is a lot of fun. One snack that I have made that I really enjoy is a spooky mix of snacks.

Eerie Eyeball Snack Mix. This snack has scary candy eyeballs, pretzel twists, chocolate-covered raisins and some gross-looking red candy-coated chocolates.

This snack mix is great fun and it’s somewhat scary to. It makes any party a haunted good time!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup mini chocolate-covered candies
  • 1 cup marshmallow eyeballs
  • 1 cup chocolate-covered raisins
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup candy eyeballs

Instructions

1.Into the bowl, put the pretzel sticks, mini chocolate-covered candies, gummy eyeballs, chocolate-covered raisins, dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds.

2. Gently mix all the ingredients until evenly distributed.

3. Add the candy eyeballs, toss lightly to mix, so people can tell that it’s supposed to be a scary, eyeball-filled salad.

4. Once the mix is thoroughly blended, transfer it to a serving bowl or divide it into smaller individual snack bags for serving.

5. Store any leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.

My favorite party snack mix contains crunchy pretzels, sweet chocolate-covered peanuts, and tangy dried cranberries. I love eating this because I crave salty and sweet tastes at the same time, and the mix has all of that.

  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate-covered peanuts
  • 1 cup pumpkin-shaped candy
  • 1 cup caramel popcorn
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup cereal squares (e.g., Chex)

Instructions

1. Mix the pretzels, candy corn, mini marshmallows, chocolate-covered peanuts, pumpkin-shaped candy, caramel popcorn, dried cranberries and cereal squares in a large mixing bowl.

2. Toss gently all the ingredients until well mixed and the various textures and colors well distributed.

3. Transfer the mix into a serving bowl or place into individual treat bags for a fun takeaway.

4. Serve immediately or store mix in an airtight container until ready to use to keep the mix fresh.

I take it in a big pail full of my ‘monstrous munchies’, which is a monstrous mix, deliciously decorated with monstrously devious ingredients. 

They scream and run, but I eat them by the bucketful. It’s the perfect blend of my crunchier – and sweeter – tastes.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of caramel popcorn
  • 2 cups of mini pretzels
  • 1 cup of candy corn
  • 1 cup of chocolate-covered peanuts
  • 1 cup of gummy worms
  • 1/2 cup of mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup of spooky-shaped cereals (like Count Chocula)

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the caramel popcorn and mini pretzels.

2. Add the candy corn and chocolate-covered peanuts to the popcorn and pretzel mixture.

3. Gently mix in the gummy worms, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout.

4. Fold in the mini marshmallows and spooky-shaped cereals.

5. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container until ready to serve.

I love to make seasonal snack mixes, and autumn is my favorite time of year to experiment with different combinations of ingredients. My favorite seasonal twist brings together candy corn, pretzel sticks and chocolate-covered peanuts.

My standard snack mix also includes mini marshmallows and roasted pumpkin seeds for a delightful crunch. This tasty autumn snack is always a hit with my friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 2 cups caramel corn
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup chocolate-covered peanuts
  • 1 cup pumpkin-shaped candy
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup cereal squares (e.g., Chex)

Instructions

1. In a big bowl, mix about 10 cups of mini pretzels, 10 cups of caramel corn, 10 cups of candy corn, 10 cups of chocolate-covered peanuts, 10 cups of pumpkin-shaped candy, 10 cups of dried cranberries, and 10 cups of cereal squares.

2. Gently toss the ingredients together to ensure they are evenly mixed.

3. Spread the treat mix on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

4. Set the mix aside for about 30 minutes to allow the various components to cohere.

5. When prepared, transfer the mix to a sealed vessel for storage, or serve it right away in Halloween bowls.
