The 9 Best Martini Cocktail Recipes

1. Classic Martini

1. Classic Martini

There’s something reassuring about the old-fashioned martini – just gin and dry vermouth poured into a glass. I’m always curious to have one when I see it on a menu.

I like to add a lemon twist or an olive. I think those little touches are what make all the difference.

Ingredients

2 ½ ounces gin
½ ounce dry vermouth
Ice cubes
Lemon twist or olive, for garnish

Instructions

1. Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you make the drink.

2. In a mixing glass, add as many ice cubes as will fit.

2. Add the gin and dry vermouth.

3. 30 seconds to stir, or until blended and chilled.

4 .Pour the stirred mixture into the glass.

5. Twist a lemon peel over the drink to release its oils, or drop in an olive as your taste dictates. Cheers!

2. Dirty Martini

2. Dirty Martini

There’s something about the classic cocktail, something timelessly graceful about it. I love the simplicity.
