So it was quite a shock when I tasted this new treat and found that it looked, smelled and tasted like nothing less than pure, unadulterated chocolate. 

And yet … I soon discovered that it also contained a fair amount of protein. I was so astonished by this that I immediately repeated the experience for myself.

Holy cow, I thought. That’s really good.

And then, greatest shock of all: not only was it low in calorie count, it was also … wait for it … wait … chol … oate. Whoa!

Double Chocolate Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream

Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 scoops chocolate protein powder
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons granulated sweetener of choice (e.g., erythritol, stevia)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Blend Them Together: Put the almond milk, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, sweetener and vanilla in the blender and blend until smooth.
Freeze: Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and secure the lid.
Place in the freezer for 24 hrs+.
Process: Once frozen solid, pull pint from freezer and insert into Ninja Creami.
Use the ‘Ice Cream’ program.
Re-spin To Be Necessary: Upon program completion, assess consistency.
If needed, run ‘Re-spin’ to create a creamy texture.

This taste is so delicious and healthy at the same time.

How it’s both creamy and so full of protein…..guilt free eating! I feel this is a great option in one’s daily life who are gluten and dairy free, diabetic or even feel this is the healthier alternative to ice cream or any desserts you may indulge in.

I absolutely love making things like this at home, especially with the Ninja Creami.

Vanilla Almond Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream

Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 tablespoons almond butter
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Blend a handful of ice cubes, almond milk, vanilla protein powder, almond butter, honey/maple syrup and vanilla extract until smooth.
Blend the mixture together and then pour it into your Ninja Creami pint container and freeze for at least 24 hours.
Freeze. Take the pint out of the freezer and place it in the Ninja Creami machine.
Select the ice cream function and process according to the manufacturer’s instruction. – Serve immediately, or freeze for up to a week.
If freezing, re-process for a creamier texture before serving.

I also love to make this treat. It yummy and it helps me to be able to eat sweet foods and still reach my fitness goals.

My creamy strawberries and bananas hit the spot every time. And the protein keeps me going throughout the day.

This is my favorite thing to eat when I want to be healthy and still enjoy desserts every day.

Ingredients

1 ripe banana
1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 cup vanilla protein powder
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other milk of choice)
1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

Blend: In a blender, blend together the banana, strawberries, protein powder, almond milk and honey/maple syrup (if using) until smooth and well combined.
Pour Into Creami Container: Pour the blended mixture into your Ninja Creami pint container until it reaches the max fill line on the front of your unit.
and then Freeze: Put it in the freezer, and leave it there for at least 24 hours, or until it’s frozen solid.
Ninja Creami Process: Once frozen, take the tub out of the freezer and place it inside the Ninja Creami machine.
Churn on the ‘Ice Cream’ setting until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Eat and Relish: Scoop out some ice-cream in a bowl or cone and enjoy your homemade strawberry banana protein ice-cream!

Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop cookies and cream-flavored protein powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp sugar-free chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
Sweetener of choice, to taste (optional)

Instructions

Blend the almond milk, protein powder, vanilla extract, and sweetener (if using) until smooth.
Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container and freeze for 24 hours.
Once frozen, dip the container into the Ninja Creami machine and process on the ‘Lite Ice Cream’ setting.
After processing, remove the container and stir in the crushed cookies.

This is my favorite super-tasty, super-healthy treat. It’s perfect for when you have a sweet tooth but still want to eat healthily, and it’s easy to whip up.

I’ve come up with a recipe that uses delicious peanut butter, which is a really good source of protein and so easy to eat just like this; it’s also satisfying and has a bit of an indulgent flavor, but without so many calories. I think you’ll like how quick and easy it is to make, as well as the balance of taste and nutritional value.

Ingredients

1 cup low-fat milk or almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 tablespoons peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1 tablespoon honey or sweetener of choice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Blend milk, protein powder, peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Pour the mixture into the pint Ninja Creami container, make sure the fill level is below the max fill line.
Put the bottle in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 24 hours. – Take the container out of the freezer, attach it to the Ninja Creami machine, and press ‘Ice Cream’ mode.

I am a life-long mint chocolate chip addict and this high protein ice cream is a dream come true. The consistency is just right, the amount of mint is perfect, and the ridged texture of the chocolate chips make this the best no-guilt ice cream that even keeps me on track for my athletic goals.

If you want to indulge yourself in an irresistible dessert that is good for you, this is my go-to.

Okay, so here’s the recipe for Mint Chocolate Chip Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream.

Ingredients

2 cups unsweetened almond milk
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
1/2 teaspoon mint extract
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
2 tablespoons honey or a sweetener of your choice

Instructions

 Blend the almond milk, protein powder, mint extract, and honey until smooth.
Freeze Mixture: Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container, seal, and freeze for 24 hours. – Ninja Creami process: Keep pint in freezer until ready to process; When ready, pull pint from freezer, insert into Ninja Creami, and process on ‘Ice Cream’ setting.
– Mix In Chips: Once mixed, add a small well of mini chocolate chips in the centre of the ice cream then mix In using the Mix In setting.
Serve: Spoon the ice cream into bowls or cones, but better yet, eat straight from the machine.
This will melt the ice cream and make it the perfect consistency. Eat right away or put any leftovers in the freezer.

7. Mocha Espresso Protein Ice Cream

Ingredients

1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 tsp instant espresso powder
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1-2 tbsp low-calorie sweetener (optional, to taste)

Instructions

Throw chocolate protein powder, unsweetened almond milk, instant espresso powder, unsweetened cocoa and low-calorie sweetener in blender.
Blend until smooth and all ingredients are well combined.
Pour the blended mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and freeze for 24 hours.
Once frozen, pop it in the Ninja Creami and churn according to the manual’s instructions.
Serve immediately or store in the freezer for later.

8. Blueberry Muffin Ice Cream

I want to get my protein up and satisfy my crazy ice-cream tooth at the same time! This smooth and soothing frozen dessert mingles the sweet tartness of blueberries with the down-home comfort flavor of a muffin, not to mention it is easy to make and fits right into my new healthy eating plan.

This is the ultimate kid-satisfying, body-building treat!

Ingredients

1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen) + 1 blueberry muffin
1 cup vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract

 Put blueberries, blueberry muffin, vanilla protein powder, almond or other milk, greek yogurt, and vanilla extract in blender.
Puree: Blend everything in blender until smooth.
Pour in Pitcher: Pour the blended mix into the Ninja Creami pint pitcher, taking care not to overfill.
Freeze: – Place in the freezer and freeze for at least 24 hours so that the mixture is frozen.
Creamify: After freezing, remove the container from the freezer and place it in the Ninja Creami machine. Use the ice cream setting to spin the mixture into a creamy consistency.
Freeze and Devour! Place the Blueberry Muffin Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream in your Ninja Creami Smoothie Station and Store in the freezer for a few hours. I can’t knock the ‘salted caramel’ quality, though: it’s just so gratuitously naughty I couldn’t help sitting down with a big spoon and some ice-cream. Filled with protein, it’s so indulgently irresistible.

The texture is superb, the flavor deep but fresh somehow, and it works so gloriously with the tang of something salty that I scoffed through the whole thing – as gratifying as a fistful of ice cream after a long workout, but so much better for you.

Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop salted caramel protein powder
2 tbsp sugar-free caramel syrup
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp xanthan gum

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Freeze: Pour mixture into a Ninja Creami pint pint container and freeze for a minimum of 24 hours.
Method: Place into freezer until solid, then insert container into Ninja Creami machine and process per instructions provided by the manufacturer.
Re-spin (if needed): If the texture is not perfectly smooth, whizz again until dreamy.
Serve: Scoop out your Salted Caramel Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream and enjoy immediately.

10. Coconut Pineapple Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream

The first time I tried this tropical sweet, I was totally surprised by how creamy and delicious it was. The coconut and pineapple combination was like the smell on a beach – I was instantly transported to a warm holiday beach in the tropics.

I love biting into its tropical sweetness and knowing that it’s good for me, full of protein, and a guilt-free treat. I always sprinkle mine with shredded coconut for some crunch at the end.

Coconut Pineapple Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream

Ingredients

1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
1 cup full-fat coconut milk (canned)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Blend pineapple pieces and all other ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Pour Mixture: Pour the blended mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container so it does not overflow over max fill line.
Chill: Make sure that the pint container is completely cold to the touch before filling. Ideally, the mixture in the freezer bowl should have melted just a bit and returned to slushy or watery consistency.
Place the pint container in the freezer for a minimum of 24 hours to firm the mixture.
Ninja Creami: After freezing, place the pint in the Ninja Creami, select the ‘Ice Cream’ preset, and process until smooth.
Serve: after straining, immediately serve for a velvety soft texture, freeze for a firmer texture.

I love a rich, indulgent, creamy treat with absolutely no guilt. I cannot get enough of this delicious Raspberry Cheesecake Protein ice cream.

I think the cheesecake richness pairs beautifully with the tangy sweetness of fresh raspberries and it’s so luscious and protein packed that I seriously have zero guilt eating this after workouts or as a yummy dessert.

I couldn’t get enough of it and immediately made it my freezer staple.

Ingredients

1 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon honey or preferred sweetener

Instructions

Blend cottage cheese, vanilla protein powder, and softened cream cheese until smooth.
Gently fold in fresh raspberries and honey to the mixture.
Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
Freeze the container for 24 hours.
Once frozen, process in the Ninja Creami machine according to manufacturer’s instructions until creamy.

Let me introduce you to my new favourite dessert: healthy, yummy, and full of protein and antioxidants. As a matcha aficionado and a sweet-tooth, I LOVE this ice cream.

Especially because it’s creamy, elegant, green and SUBSIDES MY TRAINING GOALS! You can add a half scoop of Impact Whey Protein to make it even more nutritious.

It lifts your mood and gives you ENERGY! I love it as a post-workout treat, but you can add it to your lunch or even dinner.

Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla or plain protein powder
1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Blend: Mix the almond milk, protein powder, matcha green tea powder, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour Mixture: Pour the blended mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container.
Do not overfill.
Freeze: Cover the pint jar and place in the freezer for at least 24 hours, until everything is rock-solid.
Step: Next, put it inside your Ninja Creami, press it to lock in, and select the ‘Ice Cream’ program. Process it until it’s soft and smooth.
Serve: Your matcha green tea protein ice cream is ready once the Ninja Creami is done processing. Serve and enjoy!
You can serve it right away or keep it in the freezer.

I adore a good sour kick to anything and the zest from lemon gives that fresh tangy burst of flavor in a good dessert.

This ice-cream for me definitely ticks all those boxes and more – as it helps me hold back from that bloated ‘I shouldn’t of ate that feeling’ that tends to happen after you’ve eaten a little too much dessert.

As well as adding that all important protein kick in the mix for the perfect post workout snack or simply as a healthier alternative for my kids ice-cream.

Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tablespoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey or sweetener of choice

Instructions

Mix It Up: In a blender, mix 1 cup of almond milk, 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder, zest from half a lemon, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of honey.
Mixture to Freeze: Pour mixture into Ninja Creami pint container.
Freeze 24 hours or more. Process: Ninja Creami: 1.
Put the pint into Ninja Creami after freezing.
Impeccably Creamy: Select the ‘Ice Cream’ function and process the mix down to a smooth and creamy consistency.
Serve: Scoop out and serve right away, with a little more lemon zest on top if you want.
